This is a #45, 1" long no dent nail with nail shank of 0.083" thick. Sold with rust resistant shells. No dent nails are hardened, tempered steel used for driving into wood. The buttons are driven through fabric and foam directly into wood frame. They have small corrugations to allow for easy driving and help prevent buttons from pulling out.
